What started as a family-run business is 1959 is still a family-run business today only it is being operated by the next generation with some help from the third generation as well!Our first range of greenhouses was built in 1999. We employ between 10 and 15 people each year.Our reputation is built on excellent customer service, high quality garden decor and excellent value. Otter Greenhouses now has a total of 45,000 square feet or just over 1 acre of space under one roof - making us the largest greenhouse in the area. Although the focus at the time, was on our wholesale business, the retail end of it took off and we have expanded twice since then. We do our absolute best to make sure that when you walk through the door, there will be someone available to help you immediately - whether it's just pointing you in the right direction or helping you pick out exactly what you need to plant your own custom work.
